Vinted + Depop

Vinted and Depop Crosslisting

Fashion inventory often performs differently across platforms because the buyer culture, pricing and style mix are different. Reusing the core listing lets you test both without duplicating the clerical work.

Two fashion apps, two buyer cultures

Vinted and Depop both move clothes, but they do not feel the same. Depop leans streetwear, vintage and younger buyers. Vinted is often more everyday wardrobe and a different shipping/offer culture depending on the country site you use.

Crosslisting is useful when the garment can speak to both. A band tee or a clean pair of sneakers might. A very formal dress or a kids’ snowsuit might belong on Poshmark or Kijiji instead.

Canada and locales

Vinted.ca is gone. If you sell from Canada, pick the Vinted locale you are allowed to use in Settings and do not assume a .ca create URL exists. Depop is available to Canadian sellers; in SyncListing the Depop chip stays off on older libraries until you enable it.

A practical workflow

  1. Create the master listing with measurements in the description so both size charts have a chance.
  2. On Vinted, confirm you are on the locale you intended and that size/colour appeared.
  3. On Depop, enable the marketplace if needed, then review shipping and category.
  4. Click Post yourself on each app. Do not treat “filled” as “published.”

After the sale

Fashion apps notify quickly. When one sells, mark the other removed the same day. SyncListing will not delist Depop or Vinted for you.

When to skip

Skip Vinted if you cannot legally or practically sell on the locale you selected. Skip Depop if you do not want that buyer mix or shipping setup. For local-only kids’ clothes, Kijiji or Facebook Marketplace is often the better second site.

Common questions

Does SyncListing work on Vinted.ca?

Vinted.ca closed in 2024. SyncListing’s Vinted assist uses the locales you pick in Settings (for example US, UK or FR). Canadian sellers should confirm they can actually sell on that Vinted site before enabling the chip.

Is Depop on automatically for older SyncListing libraries?

Depop is a shipped marketplace, but existing libraries keep the chip off until you enable it. Turn it on under Your marketplaces if you sell there.

Do size and colour copy perfectly?

SyncListing fills them when the destination form shows those fields. Vinted and Depop still use their own size lists — look at the dropdown before you publish.
